Tracy’s waxing journey began way back in in her teens - boarding school monotony was a great catalyst for creativity. And she has been self-waxing ever since… although not always successfully! From university days of setting the digs’ stove on fire to blowing up her first microwave at home—let's just say Tracy's waxing attempts were a bit more "explosive" than expected. Despite all the obvious signs, it has taken 35 years for Tracy to finally acknowledge that waxing is best left to the experts. And so began her journey with WAXIT.

Before joining the World of Smooth, Tracy spent 25 years immersed in the creative world of Marketing and Public Relations. From working with global branding agencies to running her own PR agency, Tracy’s been at the heart of it all.

Tracy joined the WAXIT family in March 2023 as the proud owner of WAXIT Kyalami, while patiently waiting for the perfect Cape Town location. Now, her dream is becoming a reality as she prepares to open the first WAXIT on Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard, in Hout Bay—an opportunity she has eagerly anticipated for years!

Hobbies: When she’s not wrangling Grade 4 homework with her daughter, or walking her fur babies, Tracy loves to keep busy. Whether it's arts and crafts, or just good old movie nights and dinners with friends and family, she loves her life in Cape Town.
