Our 30th WAXIT location (and 5th wax bar in the Western Cape) opened its doors on the 28^th of November in Robbergbay Shopping Centre, Plettenberg Bay! As a corporate store, WAXIT Robbergbay is under the expert guidance of Michelle Royston.

Michelle Royston is the dynamic founder and Managing Director of WAXIT, with a career spanning over a decade in the international retail sector and VIP customer service, Michelle has leveraged her extensive experience to transform the waxing industry in South Africa.

In 2015, Michelle opened the first WAXIT store in Lonehill, driven by her personal need for a convenient and professional waxing service. Her vision was to create a sanctuary where clients could enjoy expert waxing services in a stylish and welcoming environment. This vision quickly resonated with customers, leading to the rapid expansion of WAXIT.

Under Michelle’s leadership, WAXIT has grown to include stores across Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, and Cape Town. Her entrepreneurial journey has been marked by innovation and resilience. She has successfully franchised the WAXIT brand, empowering like-minded female and male entrepreneurs and fostering a supportive community within the industry. Her dedication to pushing boundaries and her passion for people and relationships have been key drivers of WAXIT’s success.
